andy

we're always developing the site - in our spare time.

we've been trying to get the navigation right (structurally) and some of the links have got broken. we'll fix them when we can.

as for links. well we still link to some sites, but not many. recipricol linking is dead - though some webmasters may disagree. if we are writing an article and a site is relavent then we may just naturally link to it - the way the web should work.

as for not replying to emails. outlook probably junked it, no offence. we get many hundreds of emails a week most of which are spam. ive set my email filters pretty harshly so much so even my business partners go in my junk box now and then!

sorry about not responding but its not physically possible to respond to all emails - not when the site is so broken in places, so little time so much to do...

BET YOU DONT PUT THIS MESSAGE LIVE FOR PEOPLE TO SEE!

Hiho

Thank you for your answer. You have mentioned about the ethics of linking and i agree the web would be a better place without this.

And the web would also be a better place if directories / companies like you guys removed their fake promises and detailed pages of how to swap links with them, if they are not prepared to honour what it is they advertise..

i understand that you have grown and are now stretched, that's good for you and your site, you must have worked hard to get here......... but remove the damn page which wastes peoples time who visit and trust what you are saying! and whilst your at it. tell people in your "contact us" link that you set your spam filters really high and you don't often have time to read your emails so anyone who emails most probably wont get theirs read either!

All very well spouting off about internet ethics, but how about you sneak a little look in the mirror (people in glass houses and all that"

Interesting points Andy. Of course your message will stay live.

A point to note, our link exchange page is actually broken, and has been for some time. We get some php errors it seems. Not sure why, I've scratched my head over it for several days, but that is all part of the fun of internet development; don't you think? Once we have fixed other parts of our site I'm sure we will eventually get on to fixing that area also.

As for not replying to "Contact Us" emails, well it is a struggle, we would love to recieve genuine emails only, but we currently get 100's of spam mails a day. What is one supposed to do??

I suggest that you remove any links to our site for the time being if you only want to link to us to gain a reciprocal link back. At the moment we have no means of actually adding any links to other sites other than by hand, and again, time is a constant pressure....
