a great way to save money on supermarket shopping is to use the website mysupermarket.co.uk to shop at Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury's or Ocado. It highlights the supermarkets special offers and helps you find the best price for your trolley

I get all my fruit and veg from a local market- after a year or so of shopping there, I reckon it's on average 20% cheaper than the local Tesco/Sainsbury's... plus there's something nice about supporting small traders!
