Hello

I live in Basingstoke in Hampshire.

I live in town house, which at the moment has a bit of a not very practical layout, so we want to change it, which would involve:

Adding a proch to the front of the house (just a small one est 3ft by 5ft), we currently have a porch roof held up by a wooden column, but would want this bricked in with a small window on the side and the front door moved to the proch and an internal frosted panel door to the inside of the house.  there is also a bin cupboard next to the front door, whcih we would want made into a cupboard for coats (this in addition to the 5ft by 3ft), it currentl a brick built cupboard, with wooden door under same proch roof).

We would also want on the ground floor the back of the house extended by roughly 3ft y brick with sloping roof and patio doors - this would e an additional to the exterior supporting wall.

The kitchen units would need moving from upstairs to the back of the house downstairs and fitting.  the new kitchen area would need floor and part of walls tiled.  We ahve the boiler next to where we want the kitchen, so i assume this means we have gas for the oven hob and also we have plumbing down there already, as there is a sink and bathroom on that floor)

We would need 3 walls knocking down on the ground floor- one of which has a radiator (2 walls are about 12ft long, one is 7ft long). all walls are just stud walls and not structural. we would also need the downstairs bathroom suite taken out (a shower, washbasin and toilet).

Upstairs we would need one room divided into two by a 9ft 7 wall.  and another room divided in two, by taking a door out and bricking it up and a wall put in about 6ft.  we would also need 2 doors put into exisiting walls.

We would also want the current downstairs bathroom suite moved into one of the upstairs rooms (which is currently the kitchen, so i assume the plumbing etc is all there already) and tiling etc done.

we would oviously also need it all finishing with skirting and plastering.

I know this is very vague, but i am just looking for a ball park figure really as a starting point and also any recommendations of tradesmen in the area who are good.

Thanks

Jo
