I am restoring an old maybe 1920's house in Merida, Yucatan with 18 and 16 ft beamed ceilings.  Any suggestions/formulas for what height wall or corner up- lights should be?  Or best approach to lighting these spaces.

Also any fomula for a tri-part wall effect, wainscot, field and dado?

Thanks.
