my missus dislikes the Dyson, finds it quite heavy and difficult to store. plus she cannot seem to get to grips with the assembly of the hose (hard to explain unless you have used one)
she would like a small Henry or similar next.
It is interesting to see how much stuff a Dyson will pull up off a new carpet. the first few vacuuming fill the dust compartment with masses of fluff. you wonder how much carpet you will have left if you continue to use it!
Had the Dyson for about 5 years with a few things broken off it but the motor and suction is still working well.
