The downstairs cloakroom in my house was removed about 8 years ago.  What is it likely to cost me to get one put back in (if we provide the basic suite).  house is Surrey/hampshire border.

based on our feedback I would say between £400-600 to install a bathroom suite that you provide depending on the level of work required to do so. So this would be a pretty straightforward fitting of old for new. Maybe £750-1000 if it requires a lot of groundwork, drainage mods.

to fit a toilet only we have data suggesting about £175 after adjusting for inflation.

to fit toilet and sink/basin somewhere in between so £200-400 again depending on 'complications'
