as an electrical contractor I would think the cost would start from £2500.. depends what you're installing! Remember the 17th edition, ( 7671 ) came out / became law, ( NON... statutary ..... means you dont have to!! ), from 1st of July 2008! RCD protection to lighting circuits, ( new install CCU ).
