IVE JUST GOT A VAN AND WOULDNT MIND BECOMING A FREELANCE COURIER BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I SHOULD CHARGE OR HOW TO WORK OUT THE COST IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME IT WOULD REALLY BE APPREICATED

Tricky question. You should have a look at what your overheads will be, how much your Van will depreciate over time, fuel costs, insurance costs, advertising, accounting etc. Add on your desired hourly profit (maybe around £20 an hour?) and then probably double it to make up for 'dead time' when you are waiting for jobs to come along.

Its a good start but maybe other people have some better ideas?
