I had a small filling replaced about 2 months ago.  I had to go back about a week later as I thought I could feel a sharp bit of filling left on the side of my tooth.  My dentist said there was nothing there and it was a small chip in my tooth that I could feel more now that my filling had been replaced ?!  I think it was a chip that she had made whilst filling my tooth, I remember her missing her aim at one point and saying 'oops these white fillings are harder than you think'.

Anyway, at the return visit she used something that felt like sandpaper and pulled it between the filled tooth and the one next to it and filed away. Now I am getting toothache especially when I eat/drink cold or hot things.  I will have to go back (dreading it, she made me feel like I was wasting her time last time).  Im guessing I might need another filling?  Will I be charged again?  Im annoyed as I had no problems at all with the previous filling before it was replaced.

Thanks
