I live in South East Essex and am currently looking at buying a house that, for some strange reason, does not contain a toilet in the bathroom -there is only a P-shaped bath (with shower over and mixer tap) and a sink.  There is no toilet upstairs and, as far as I am aware, there has never been one upstairs.
Assuming there is sufficient space along the external wall in the bathroom, roughly how much would it cost to install a toilet and what's the extent of the work required?  I'll probably have to look at ripping out the sink, putting the toilet there and having a smallish corner sink fitted instead.  Thanks in anticipation of any advice.

Hi there,
For all my home improvement projects I use www.directtender.com and I find it very helpful to get average price for almost anything. It is absolutely free to post a job/tender and you can get good few numbers of replays. Good luck
