Several years ago Diesel used to be only 2 pence more expensive than Unleaded Petrol, but now it is more than 10p more expensive than unleaded.

Why is that???

Anyone got ideas? Perhaps the oil companies have workd out that they can just charge Diesel car and lorry drivers more and are profiteering from it all? Or perhaps demand for Diesel fuel has increased massively since people desire more fuel efficient cars, and supply and demand realities are driving up the prices?

I suspect we are all just being ripped off as usual....

The majority of the populous now drive Diesel, government consider us now to be easy prey...

A better system to be honest is the Spanish, all prices are controlled by them to stop the country going into meltdown through high fuel, they have enough to contend with having suffered the consequences of the beloved Euro..
